Today Grandma had an upper barrium test on her throat. They found an extra flap that makes the food come back up, this will need to be removed, I'm not sure when they will do that surgery, we should know more tomorrow. GOOD NEWS, she was able to come down a floor, so that means she is now out of ICU. They are still monitoring her very closely, and she was able to eat a little broth and wonderful jello...Yeah! Her sugar levels were a little high,179 today, but man she got food!!!! Jodi seemed to find some sugar free jello and brought that up to her. All in all she seems to be in good spirits today.
However, our sweet Garth-eee was a little dizzy today, perhaps lack of food as well. Jodi sent him home to get some rest and eat, but you know we need to watch him closely too...
