Hospital/Home News

Grandma Judy went home on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Yeah! She is feeling much better, however she will need to have surgery on her throat. The medical term is Divertikulum-zenkerts. (which means extreme acid reflux) The physicians believe that she inhaled something into her lungs, which allowed bacteria to build up and cause the double pneumonia. So once we get the surgery taken care of, they think she will be fine. Grandpa is thinking up some very interesting meals. Grandma cannot eat anything, unless it has been blended as well as baby food, so he is up on all suggestions. YUM, YUM. Her surgery is on Friday, November 7, 2008, they had to move it back a bit, because of blood thinners.
