Hospital News (Day 3)

Today Grandma Judy was doing much better.
The heart specialist said her heart was doing much better than he had thought. He was able to view the ultrasound of her heart and said that he anticipated that she will be fine. The kidney specialist said that her kidney functions were better than he had anticipated as well. So this means if we can get the fluid out of her lungs, then they can take care of her heart and kidneys. Grandma is feeling so much better, the nurses washed her hair and bathed her today. We have been so blessed with the care that she has been getting, all of the nurses have been so good to her. She is still only able to have ice chips, however the nurses have slipped her a small taste of DIET COKE to take her medication with. She was so excited to to have a small swig! Her spirits are still high. No fever tonight and her sugar levels are fine. Potassium and magnesium are a little high, but the nurses are on top of that. Bishop Greer visited today and he and grandpa administered a blessing. Keep her in your prayers, they seem to be working.
