Last night grandma had quite a night. Blood pressure dropped dangerously low and the dialysis line was too short, so they had to take it out and put in a new line....she was not very happy at all. Jodi statyed up all night and called dad at 3:30 am to come up, per Dr. Ahmed's request. Her nurse, Robert, was on top of it and kept close eye on everything. The Doctor stayed and talked to dad and this morning he tried to place another pic-line in, however, was unsuccesful. Grandma has a lot of scar tissue that blocks the entry. Grandma had dialysis today for 2 hours and the doctor stayed in with her watching carefully. They were able to take off 2 liters of fluid today without using the drug levofed and her blood pressure is stable now. Feeling much better today, and resting comfortably.
